St. Vincent de Paul of Contra Costa County (SVdP) and Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa (LFCC) team up everyday to help feed, clothe, shelter and heal our most vulnerable neighbors. In these challenging times, we invite you to partner with us to make a life-changing impact on the lives of our struggling neighbors with a special invitation to sponsor our 2025 Bocce Ball fundraiser, "The Big La Bocce”.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025 and includes 3 bocce games (min.), lunch, beverages, and a silent auction. More than 120 attendees will participate, individuals and businesses that support our organizations. The· purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds for the hunger-relief and basic-needs programs provided to those in need in Contra Costa County. We would be extremely grateful if you would partner with us on this event, which will support community activities offered by our organizations.

SVdP and LFCC are committed to serving those most in need in our neighborhoods. In Contra Costa County, thousands of residents each day go without basic life necessities, like food, shelter, medical care and clothing. With 5 dining rooms throughout the county, LFCC provides nearly 3,000 free hot meals and groceries daily to those in need in local communities. SVdP provides help to over 90,000 individuals in Contra Costa County annually through programs distributing $1.9 million of financial aid and $4.5 million of in-kind aid through programs including 18 food pantries, medical and dental care for the uninsured, rental and housing assistance, thrift stores that provide free clothing and furniture, job training and employment for those with barriers, and much more.
